I wonder if it would be worth leaving the opening chapter of the serial as free, as a hook into paid subscriptions? Just thinking it’ll be difficult for new readers to join in the continuing serials in the Radiance universe without having read what’s come before.
I probably will end up leaving opening chapters free…it would be the smarter way, you’re right! My hangup is that the first chapter of Radiance is what needs the most revision in my opinion. I want to get a better introduction to the universe out there at some point.
It's a tricky thing. Maybe I should take it all paid and then put up the revised intro or a separate short story in its place? Lots of thoughts, but I purposely gave myself extra time with the "two years from the end" thing. 😂 I'm sure I'll figure something out!

Ooh that is also a good point. If you want to revise the first chapter, you’ll certainly have to “pull it”.
