This is great. I love the will-they / won’t they, and you set the scene brilliantly. Just enough detail so I feel a part of a vibrant scene, and at no point over burdened or sluggish. Chefs kiss!
I had not expected this to be romance at all, at least it did not give me goosebumps. This is quite a chill cool atmosphere and with enigmatic characters too. Definitely not a rom-com but more like rom-noir. I like your references to places as therapists lol. I can't help but remember some pulp magazine covers with this story 😅. Great job dressing romance in a cool fashion. I love the photo concept. That is quite a charmer!
Awwww! I love happy endings!! I’m picky and cynical with romantic stories, but I absolutely love this! The dialogue rang true and wasn’t overblown at all, and Rob and Tanya’s chemistry was delightful. Best of luck with the final round!
Aw, thank you! Chemistry between people is the only thing that can rescue some decisions that are really questionable otherwise, and I was unsure the whole time if I could squeeze enough development into 1500 words to turn a guy whom I initially thought was a jerk into a justifiable love interest. I'm delighted that it worked out!
One specific detail you changed from the 250-word version that helped: describing it as "the heavy scent of oak and patchouli". I'm just an ox; I thought they were other people in the first version.

Thank you for your kind comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I didn't know what direction you were going to take this. Beautifully done! Officially received! Let us know when you sell the movie rights.
Oh, wow. I admire your mastery in creating the character of Rob. He feels so real, yet too irresistible to be real.
Thank you very much! I didn't know if I could get him over the border from pushy to roguish. I'm really very happy with how he turned out.
Excellent!🩶
Thank you for reading! I'm glad you liked it.
Hey, if you want I can easilly add it to the Thorny Thursday. I really liked it, excellet dialogues.🩶
Oh yes, I'm planning to show it off tomorrow for sure!! It took me long enough to contribute a real romance piece...>_>;

Thank you very much! It all came together very unexpectedly- when I started it I didn't know that the photo would be important at all.

"We'll always have Paris..."

Ooh, that's helpful to know. Thanks for the feedback.
Pairs doesn't care, but she sure does. Well done, EB!
Thank you!
Best of luck EB!
If there's anywhere to rescue a relationship, it's Paris.
Maybe! I've been a couple of times and felt the romantic reputation was a bit overblown. But then I was broke and on study abroad.
